Girish Gaitonde, the founder of SAFEdge, has been trading various securities, including stocks, options and treasuries to achieve defined income for the last 20-plus years, including the last two years of successfully growing his own investment, where the SAFEdge was conceived and successfully executed.

Prior to SAFEdge, Girish founded and grew Xoriant Corporation to $300M with an employee strength of 6000. Xoriant was sold to a private equity company in 2022.

Girish brings a unique combination of technology depth in software engineering and investment management and trading in various instruments. He has an MBA in Finance from Chicago Booth, an MS in EE from the Penn State University and a B.Tech in EE from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a Distinguished Alumnus both of Chicago Booth and IIT Bombay and an Outstanding Engineer at Penn State.

Combined with his over 30+ years’ experience in growing Xoriant, a highly successful angel investor and advisor, Girish is founding SAFEdge on the principles of risk-mitigated medium term cash optimization strategies aimed at a diverse range of audiences.
